Interim Quality Improvement (QI) Nurse (RN)
Managed Care | Remote (California residents only)
A progressive managed care organization is seeking an experienced Interim QI Nurse to lead complaint and grievance resolution and ensure members receive high-quality, compliant care.
Interim Details
- 3-month assignment to start; possibility of extension
- Fully Remote (must currently reside in California)
- Requires strong documentation, follow-through, and comfort working in review/tracking systems (not bedside)
- Salary - $55/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Research, analyze, and resolve Quality of Care complaints and grievances
- Develop, implement, and monitor corrective action plans
- Participate in committees, audits, and quality initiatives
- Support HEDIS activities and data-driven performance improvement efforts
Must-Have Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing program
- Active, unrestricted California RN license
- 5+ years clinical nursing experience
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
Preferred Background
- 3+ years in quality improvement, case review or managed care
- Experience with Medi-Cal / Medicare populations and member grievance workflows
