Temp Concurrent Review RN
Fully Remote (California)
A managed care organization is seeking a Temp Concurrent Review Registered Nurse to support utilization management and ensure member care is delivered at the appropriate level and length of stay. This short-term role focuses primarily on skilled nursing and long-term care and is ideal for an RN with strong clinical judgment and an interest in managed care.
Position Highlights
✔️ $55/hour
✔️ 3-month temporary assignment (cannot guarantee temp to hire)
✔️ 100% Remote – must reside in California
✔️ Focus on Skilled Nursing & Long-Term Care
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct concurrent reviews to support appropriate level of care and length of stay
- Collaborate with providers on care planning, transfers, and discharge planning
- Escalate non-standard cases to Medical Director as needed
- Document reviews and decisions in accordance with regulatory and contractual requirements
- Track utilization data and support routine reporting
What We’re Looking For
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Active, unrestricted California RN license
- At least 3+ years of clinical RN experience in a hospital or clinic setting
- Experience with SNF/LTC, utilization management, or discharge planning – preferred
- Familiarity with Medi-Cal, Medicare, CMS, or managed care – preferred
