Perioperative Manager

A progressive, patient-centered healthcare organization is seeking a seasoned Perioperative Manager to lead surgical services across the full continuum of care. This is a high-impact strategic leadership opportunity for an experienced perioperative professional who brings system-level thinking, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about driving quality, operational excellence, process improvement, and measurable outcomes.
Position Highlights
✔️ Competitive compensation: $192K - $288K (DOE) + bonus potential + relocation support
✔️ Oversight of a growing perioperative program (7 ORs including robotics)
✔️ Monday through Friday scheduled ~ as needed on weekends
✔️ Leadership of 50 FTEs with strong charge nurse support structure
✔️ Collaborative, physician-aligned environment with advanced surgical capabilities (robotics, ortho, spine, bariatrics, and more)
✔️ Opportunity to drive staffing stabilization, operational efficiency, and program growth
What You Will Do
- Lead daily operations of surgical services, ensuring efficient, high-quality patient care
- Partner with surgeons, anesthesia, and clinical teams to optimize workflows and outcomes
- Mentor, develop, and engage staff while building a strong team culture
- Drive process improvement initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance
- Oversee staffing, budgeting, and departmental performance metrics
Ideal Background
- 8-10 years of RN surgical service experience, including at least 6+ years of leadership
- Strong operational and clinical knowledge across surgical services
- Proven ability to lead teams, improve workflows, and manage change
- Experience with regulatory standards, quality initiatives, and performance improvement
