A mission-driven healthcare organization is seeking a Manager of Obstetrics to lead OB and nursery services in a patient-centered, community-focused environment. This role blends hands-on clinical leadership with operational oversight and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
✔️ Provide leadership and clinical direction for OB and nursery nursing staff
✔️ Manage staffing and resources based on census and acuity
✔️ Oversee policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance
✔️ Lead performance improvement and patient safety initiatives
✔️ Support staff education, onboarding, and competency validation
✔️ Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary partners
✔️ Monitor departmental budgets and capital needs
✔️ Serve as a clinical resource during high census or acuity
What We’re Looking For
- Active RN license, required
- 5+ years of RN experience with demonstrated leadership skills
- OB or specialty nursing experience, preferred
- Prior charge nurse or management experience, a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and team-building abilities
- Commitment to patient-centered care
- ASN required | BSN preferred
- BLS and NRP required at time of hire
