A progressive, patient-centered healthcare organization is seeking a Director of Quality, Risk & Patient Safety to lead system-wide quality and safety initiatives across a hospital and a network of 20+ clinics.
This is a high-impact, executive-facing leadership role for a strategic professional who brings system-level thinking, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is passionate about driving quality outcomes, regulatory excellence, and a culture of safety.
Position Highlights
- Relocation support available
- Oversight across hospital 20+ ambulatory clinics
- Leadership of 8 FTEs
- Highly visible role partnering with executive leadership, medical staff, and the Board
- Opportunity to shape and elevate a system-wide quality and patient safety program
What You Will Do
- Lead the QAPI program, driving improved patient outcomes and safety
- Oversee quality, risk, patient safety, and regulatory compliance initiatives across the organization
- Partner with leadership and medical staff to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Manage event reporting, RCA/FMEA processes, and corrective action planning
- Ensure compliance with CMS, Joint Commission, and regulatory standards, including survey readiness
- Direct infection prevention, employee health, and patient experience programs
- Leverage data and KPIs to drive performance improvement and decision-making
- Support peer review, credentialing, and clinical quality initiatives
- Lead education and training efforts to strengthen quality and compliance across the organization
