Director of Emergency Services

This Director of Emergency Services role is intentionally designed for experienced ED Supervisors, Clinical Coordinators, and Managers who are ready to step into their first Director seat.

The hospital is seeking a steady, hands-on leader with strong ED clinical roots and leadership experience — even if that leadership has been in other clinical areas, who is ready to broaden scope with the support of a new CNO focused on structure and accountability.

What You’ll Do:

• Daily operations, staffing, throughput, and patient experience.
• Coaching and support for Charge Nurses, travelers, and frontline staff.
• Cultural reset after several years of leadership turnover.
• Hands-on leadership.
• Regulatory readiness and improvement of key metrics such as LOS, LWBS, door-to-provider times, and patient satisfaction.

Background they are open to

• RN required
• Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of experience or 7+ years of progressive clinical ED experience in lieu of Bachelor’s
• 3-5 years of previous leadership experience in the ED and/or other clinical areas
  (Supervisor, Clinical Coordinator, Manager, Team Lead)
