Behavioral Health Therapist - Adolescent Unit
Mountain West
A mission-driven behavioral health organization is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Health Therapist to support adolescents in an inpatient setting. This role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact through crisis intervention, therapeutic engagement, and coordinated recovery-focused care.
Role Highlights
✔️ Individual, family & group therapy
✔️ Crisis intervention & safety planning
✔️ Mental health assessments & treatment planning
✔️ Case management & community coordination
✔️ Collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment
You will work closely with psychiatrists, nurses, behavioral health technicians, and peer specialists to provide inclusive, high-quality care for adolescents experiencing mental health and substance use challenges.
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 2+ years mental health experience
- 1+ year working with adolescents
- LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LAC or CAS
- Experience with serious mental illness and/or substance use disorders
Preferred:
- Master’s degree
- Bilingual/Bi-cultural background
