An award-winning, growing Critical Access Hospital in Oregon is looking for an experienced Blood Bank / Laboratory Leader for an initial 13-week interim assignment.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong immunohematology expertise who enjoys being hands-on, sharing their knowledge, and helping a team grow. You will work closely with the current Blood Bank Lead, serving as a mentor and technical resource while troubleshooting challenges, strengthening processes, and helping set the department up for continued success.
A Few Highlights:
- 13-week initial assignment to start, may go longer | Onsite
- Serve as the Technical Supervisor for Blood Bank/Immunohematology
- Mentor and support the current Blood Bank Lead
- Provide hands-on technical expertise and troubleshooting
- Help strengthen quality, compliance, and Blood Bank processes
- Support upcoming survey readiness
- Provide additional laboratory leadership support as needed
- Housing, airfare + rental car provided
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong Blood Bank / Immunohematology expertise
- Qualifications to serve as Technical Supervisor under applicable CLIA requirements
- Laboratory leadership or management experience
- Quality, compliance, and survey preparation experience
- A collaborative approach and a genuine interest in mentoring and developing others
