Director of Compliance & Privacy
Pacific Northwest
A busy community hospital in the Pacific Northwest is looking for an experienced Director of Compliance & Privacy to lead its organization-wide compliance and privacy program. This highly visible leader will serve as a key resource to the CEO, Board, and leadership team, helping the organization navigate regulatory requirements, identify risks, and promote a strong culture of ethics and accountability.
Role Highlights:
- Lead the organizations Compliance & Privacy Program
- Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate regulatory risk
- Oversee compliance and privacy investigations and corrective action plans
- Provide regular compliance updates to the CEO and Board
- Oversee compliance education, policies, internal controls, and BAAs
- Monitor evolving healthcare regulations and advise leadership on changes
- High level of integrity and sound judgment when handling sensitive matters
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, legal studies, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare compliance, audit, risk management, legal, quality, or a related area
- CHC, CHPC, or similar professional certification
- Relevant healthcare compliance leadership experience
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s or Juris Doctorate degree in healthcare administration, business, legal studies, or related field
- 2+ years of relevant Director-level experience
